1-day introductory course

ABOUT YOUR HOSTS: Scouted in her mid-teens Letchimi went on to model locally and for prominent Perth agency Spiers Model Management. Still appearing in local campaigns herself, she also owns and runs Excel Model Management, managing a team of more than 40 models.

  • Hosting numerous modelling and deportment courses over the years Letchimi teaches participants confidence, posing, and runway. Her own career spanning runway and/or photographic work for Myer, national shopping centres, local retailers, Indigenous Fashion Week, as well as appearances in national tourism campaigns and a multitude of TV commercials. Joined by our fabulous make up artist Teddy. Teddy has been working in the industry for close to 10 years and is excited to show you how to create your own stunning runway looks. What to expect: ( hours 9am to 4pm)
Participants will receive an introduction to modelling from industry professional Letchimi Wright who will share how the agency operates in the Territory. This will be followed by a two-hour make up session with our makeup artist Teddy. Teddy will show participants how to apply their own stage ready makeup to stand out under stage lights and ensure your features are well enhanced, as well as how to pair it back for the every day. After lunch participants - with their makeup already applied - will take part in a professional photoshoot, receiving a digital image to keep, followed by runway training to help them walk the runway with confidence. This course is designed to give participants an introduction into the world of modelling but is suitable for anyone that wants to grown their confidence walking into a room or standing in front of a camera. Digital images will be emailed after course completion, allowing time for review and editing. Participants will be required to bring their own makeup and brushes for both hygiene and training purposes.
