It is important that you have a 'tote' bag that you carry with you for jobs so you are prepared and look professional when attending. Your 'tote' can be backpack, large tote or travel suitcase but you want your items easily accessible. Below is a list of items models should carry in your tote and notes about presentation. Casting talent can skip some of the following requirements, but you will be often expected to supply items out of your wardrobe for shoots. So pay attention to items such as shoes, makeup, deoderant, hair requirements. Any clothing items requirment for shoots will be discussed with you prior to the shoot.
  • Skincolour strapless bra and seamless bra - can be one in the same if you can find one.
  • Skincolour g-string or seamless panties (female) / skincolour seamless boxer (men) - satin boxers can work
  • Nude heel shoe (female) / brown-tan or black dress shoe (male)
  • Black heel shoe (female)
  • Belt brown-tan or black (male) to match dress shoe
  • Flat sandal (female) - nude or black or white or silver or gold is fine - just needs to be neutral
  • Clean runners - preferably white (male and female)
  • Makeup eg concealer, foundation, eyeshadow, nude/gloss and red lipstick, mascara, liner lip and eye, brushes, makeup remover
  • Male models should consider carrying concealer for blemishes or under eyes and a compact for shine
  • Non-marking deodorant no/low scent
  • Hair - hairspray, gel/wax, pins, hair elastics, brush/comb, dry shampoo(male and female)
  • Makeup scarf - to put over your head when trying on clothes so you don't get makeup on them
  • Tweezers, razor, small mirror, nail polish remover, cotton balls/pads/tissues, nail file.
  • Pen and paper or a way to take notes
  • Presentation Nails should be a nude shade or clear. No chipped polish on hands or toes. Nails are neat, even, and clean Shoes should always be clean. No scuffs on visable part of shoe. New shoes can be slippery so wear them in first scuff bottoms on bitchumen/concrete worst case scenario put hair spray on bottom of shoes if booked for a runway show.
